I lead the Creative Studio, managing a team of ~40 full-time individuals across all creative disciplines as well as a roster of agencies, vendors, and freelancers. The studio produces more than 20k assets annually that range from high-volume promotional collateral, to seasonal editorial imagery, to multi-year brand campaign work, with goals ranging from conversion to driving brand affinity. In 2023, we launched our hugely successful “Welcome to the Wayborhood” brand campaign, for which I served as end-to-end brand creative director. Here’s a taste.
The Improper Bostonian Magazine
2010 – 2012
The Improper Bostonian was a lifestyle destination with biweekly circulation of 70k throughout metro Boston. My primary objective was to modernize the content mix for a digitally-native audience. During my tenure, I led editorial direction for food, pop culture, and society gossip content verticals, managing a stable of freelance contributors, photographers, and stylists. I also launched a successful travel column and hosted a biweekly podcast.
